Boldly Proclaiming the Right to Life

January 18, 2019

January 22, 2019 marks the 46th year since the U. S. Supreme Court legalized abortion through the Roe v. Wade decision. Since then, Roe has lead to the deaths of over 60 million unborn babies.

For 46 years, pro-lifers have pushed back against legalized abortion by working to change hearts and minds.

And for 46 years, pro-lifers across the country have boldly proclaimed the sanctity of all human life by marching in state capitals or by attending the March for Life in Washington, D.C. to commemorate the Roe v. Wade decision. Today, several members of our staff, board, and friends of the ministry traveled together to Washington to take part in the annual March for Life.

Beginning with a rally on the National Mall, speakers include prominent pro-life leaders and members of Congress who will encourage attendees in their work to change our culture to one that values life.

Young and old alike will make the long trek down Constitution Avenue up to the Supreme Court and Capitol Building. Peacefully marching to show their commitment to creating communities that value life, participants will have a chance to take their beliefs a step further by meeting with their congressional representatives about the issue.

Later today, marchers will make their way home but they will return with a renewed sense of hope to boldly proclaim the right to life for all innocent human life.
